Hello dear hivers, again I come with another delicious recipe ideal to be the companion of crackers or bread, it is a beet jam that I learned to make it at the university since I study food engineering on one occasion we presented different jams at an expo-fair that is held every year and that jam was one of them, it is an innovative recipe since it is not common to the other jams because it is prepared with a vegetable that is the beet, it is ideal for making jam because it has a striking color and gets the sweet that facilitates the preparation I hope you like it a lot let's start.

- take the beets and wash them very well and cut them in half and boil them until they are soft.
- after cooking the beets I let them cool for a moment and then I remove the skin, and I reserve the water with which I cooked them.
- Then I take the beets and cut them into smaller pieces and blend them with the water from the same beets that I had reserved.
4.then I add the liquefied beets in a pot, separately in a glass I add a little bit of water and with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch I stir and set aside.
5 .To the beet mixture I add 2 tablespoons of sugar and vanilla to taste and continue stirring with a paddle over low heat.
Then I add the reserved cornstarch to the beet mixture and stir well until it begins to thicken and remove from heat.
7.The beet jam is ready, place it on a plate to let it cool.
