Tomorrow is Father's Day and from today we start celebrating it in this house, so I prepared a special dinner for my father, a delicious Cordon Bleu that he didn't even imagine I was going to prepare for him. To be honest, this has been my first time preparing this recipe, so I prepared it in my own way, making some slight changes that I think made the experience easier, so I wanted to share it with you.

The Cordon Bleu or Cordon Blue as it is also called, is undoubtedly a delicious preparation and that for many is worthy of a special occasion, and for me today it is, because we do not have to wait for a special day to celebrate the life and good work of our parents, and to tell the truth, I am grateful daily that I have mine by my side and giving the best of himself for my son, so the king of the house is spoiled today and every day equally, although there are days that provokes send him to eat a cable hahaha.

As I told you this is a recipe that I had never prepared and if I'm honest I do not understand why I had not prepared it before, if it is so delicious. Preparing it is not as difficult as it seems, and to tell the truth, we can prepare a good amount and freeze them to have them on hand for a special occasion if desired. My father was not only surprised but also satisfied and in love, we had a nice time as a family and I was happy to enjoy them. Join me and I'll show you how to prepare this delicacy.

Ingredients

8 Chicken breast fillets
200 gr Shredded mozzarella cheese
150 gr Boiled ham leg
2 Eggs
1 Cup Wheat flour
1 Cup Breadcrumbs
1 Tbsp Salt
1/4 Tbsp Ground black pepper
1/8 tsp Spicy paprika
Vegetable oil for frying
8 Wooden chopsticks

Preparation

Preparation time 20 Minutes
Cooking Time 10 Minutes

To start we season our chicken breast fillets or milanesas with salt and black pepper, and add the spicy paprika to the wheat flour.

We continue mixing the grated mozzarella cheese and chopped cooked ham, I always have ham and cheese in this way to make pies for Mi Mathias, so I used it this way, we can also put it in slices or slices, I even found it easier this way. Fill each milanesa with ham and cheese, roll up, and secure with a wooden toothpick.

Once all the fillets are rolled with the ham and cheese, we start by passing each one of them through wheat flour, then through the eggs that we have previously beaten, we repeat this operation, and finally, we pass through the breadcrumbs, making sure to cover all the holes so that when frying the melted cheese does not escape due to the heat.

We take to the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, and after this time we fry in enough hot vegetable oil, over medium heat for about 3 minutes on each side, so that its cooking is even.

A nice fresh salad and a portion of white rice go great as accompaniments to this delight, simple, easy, and quick to make, but without a doubt one of the most delicious and perfect things they could have created. I think this will become my new addiction hahaha. Additionally, I put some ranch dressing that goes great with both the salad and the Cordon Bleu.

Ingredientes

8 Filetes de Pechuga de pollo
200 gr Queso mozzarella rayado
150 gr Jamón cocido de pierna
2 Huevos
1 Taza Harina de trigo
1 Taza Pan rallado
1 Cda Sal
1/4 Cdta Pimienta negra molida
1/8 Cdta Paprika picante
