Hello my dear foodies...
Today i want to share a post about traditional Bali food that i got the chance to taste the last time i went there.
I am not someone that can eat a lot, especially in the morning.
So, i decided to just try another Nasi Jinggo.
If you folow my post, i posted about Nasi Jinggo before as it was my first experience try them.
In that first experience, i like it so much because it makes me feel good.
I feel good that i can finishthe whole food without forcing myself to finish them.
I feel good because i dont have to waste any food because i cant finish the food.
I know that i like the nasi jinggo from the first place i try them.
As the variation, i decided to try another place.
But to be honest, this one located not really far from the first place and its around my hotel area too, maybe its located only 200 m from nasi jinggo ima, the first nasi jinggo that i have ever tried.
The name of this stall is Lapak Pojok.
Different from nasi jinggo ima where they were the one that make everything that they sell.
I believe that this lapak pojok works a bit differently.
Because i saw that every variant of food in the stall has different name on it.
So, i think that for Lapak Pojok, they’re gathered food from different seller and sell them in one stall together.
The other different from the Nasi Jinggo Ima where the seller is two sister, this one its only one guy that sell in the stall.
There’re other big difference in the food but i will talk about it later, further in the post.

Here, they sell:

  • Nasi Jinggo
  • Aneka Lauk Pauk ( Variety of side dishes )
  • Aneka Camilan ( variety of snacks )
  • Jaje Bali

This is the stall and as we can see, they have so many variant of food that we can choose.
Its all very cheap too.
I cant find anytging that cost more than 10.000 idr.
Sadly, i was not confident that i can finish the food if i buy more even if its only a snacks.
So i held back my desire and greed and just buy the rice.
But truly, there’re so many.
If only i have my friends with me then i think it will be so much better because we can share the food together.
I wish that the next time i went to Bali i will have my friend to go with me.
As i said in the top, there's another big difference between Lapak Pojok with Nasi Jinggo Ima, which is the variety of the nasi jinggo.
In nasi jinggo ima, they only sell chicken as the side dish of the nasi or rice.
But in here, they sell pork too.
So for people that able to eat pork and want to have a breakfast with pork, this gonna be a better choice compared to the place before, nasi jinggo ima.

As i said before, here in lapak pojok, every variety of food have different seller.
For example, this nasi jinggo that i bought is made by Bu Eddy Syukur.
She even put her telephone number there maybe for people that got interested with the taste of her cooking and want to order some more for special occasions.
They wrapped the nasi jinggo with the banana leaves and i just love it so much.
I love when food ger wrapped with banana leaves.
I dont know if its just in my mind or what but the food always taste better.

This is my nasi jinggo.
For the nasi or rice, i choose the yellow one and not the white normal one because i already tried the normal one before and just want a variation this time.
For the side dish, i choose to have the chicken (of course, i dont eat pork).
Other than chicken, they have other side dish to accompany the rice, its noodle and tempe.
Different from the first nasi jinggo that i try, which is spicy. This one is more in the sweet side.
All the side dish is sweet and spicy.
Its still very nice and quite comforting to eat in the morning.
I personally wouldn’t prefer to eat something too spicy in the morning.
