Fasting during in another country is not easy, especially as a migrants worker who does not have the freedom to leave the house, if not on holidays. Missing my hometown food menu often comes in ambush when breaking the fast, because someone from. Well ,,, for myself sometimes I prefer to cook my own menu, because it guarantees the quality and nutritional intake needed.
In this post, I want to share the menu for my meal, Fried Eggs and Tempe Bacem, ”my own creation.

How to cook

  • Cut the Tempe according to taste
  • Slice garlic, ginger and chilies to taste
  • After everything is done, heat the skillet and pour the oil:
I deliberately reduce the oil for health.
  • Saute the spices until they smell nice, to add flavor.
  • Add water, turmeric book, salt and flavorings.
  • Put the tempeh slices, immerse them in the stir fry so that the taste permeates
Saute the tempeh for 10 minutes, don't forget to go back and forth, so that all the spices are absorbed and evenly distributed.
After the water dries up, add a little soy sauce to add flavor

Note:
I match the spices with the ones in Taiwan, because I am not very good at cooking. However, for me, a menu like this can already betray my longing for my mother's cooking when Iftar.

The complete menu is bacem tempeh, fried eggs, boiled mustard greens and seaweed soup. In cooking I always reduce sugar, oil, salt. Learn from Chinese people who eat healthy foods. Because it's never too late to maintain your health, other than starting now.[]
