Hoy de nuevo con ustedes para compartirles una nueva receta

En algunos países las comidas picantes son la mejor opción, pero aquí en Venezuela son muy pocos los estados donde predomina este tipo de salsas, a mí en particular siempre me ha gustado la comida con toques picantes preferiblemente los granos, empanadas, sopas y arepas.

Hoy me dispuse a elaborar una salsa picante, para compartir con ustedes el paso a paso.

In some countries spicy foods are the best option, but here in Venezuela there are very few states where this type of sauces predominate, I in particular have always liked food with spicy touches preferably grains, empanadas, soups and arepas.

Today I set out to make a spicy sauce, to share with you the step by step.

Salsa picante || Hot sauce

Ingredientes:

  • 1/4 kg de ajíes dulces
  • 1/4 kg de ajíes picantes chiles rojos
  • 1 cebolla
  • 3 dientes de ajo
  • Aceite
  • Sal al gusto
  • 1 cucharada de azúcar

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 kg of sweet chili peppers
  • 1/4 kg of hot red chili peppers
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar

Paso a paso:

Lavas todos los ajíes, y la cebolla, luego en una olla con una pequeña y mínima cantidad de agua, la llevas al fuego con los ajies, colocas sal, y la azúcar y los dientes de ajo, y dejas cocinar por 10 minutos, una vez consumida el agua apagas el fuego y reservas.

Step by step:

Wash all the peppers and onion, then in a pot with a small and minimal amount of water, take it to the fire with the peppers, add salt, sugar and garlic cloves, and let it cook for 10 minutes, once the water is consumed, turn off the heat and reserve.

Llevas los ajíes al vaso de la licuadora sin nada de agua, colocas el aceite y licuar hasta obtener una pasta homogénea. Llevas al fuego nuevamente y cocinas hasta que haga ebullición.

Put the peppers in the blender without any water, add the oil and blend until you obtain a homogeneous paste. Take it to the fire again and cook until it boils.

Reservas en envases hasta enfriar y guardar en frascos de vidrio bien tapados en el refrigerador.

Está salsa picante te puede durar hasta un mes. Y puedes disfrutarla con todo que te guste.

Reserve in containers until cool and store in tightly covered glass jars in the refrigerator.

This hot sauce can last you up to a month. And you can enjoy it with anything you like.
