Tea time special: Siomay Bandung & Mie Kangkung!

Hello, friends especially foodies!
Before going home from Grand Indonesia shopping center on Saturday, mom and i went to another foodcourt which was located on Foodhall, a supermarket on LG floor. We wanted to have some food for the tea time.

First mom went to her most favorite noodle stall to order. Here was the stall and also their menu.

And then we also bought some shewmai in foodhall stall, the stall next to the cashier.

Here how our tea time food looked like

Our orders were siomay bandung and also mie kangkung. Before i continue, bandung is a capital city of West Java, where this kinda shewmai came from.

For those special food,
we shared together, and now i would like to share the flavour of these food one by one. Started from the mie kangkung, or if it is translated would be chicken kale noodle.

Like the name, besides chicken, the topping for this noodle was kale, and also beansprout. The noodle had sweet savory flavour and we added the lime press plus spicy chilli sauce on it. It had thick and special food. Besides fresh the vegetables as its' topping was also soft. The chicken foe the topping also so tasty with savory and sweet flavour. Really delicious noodle and mom loved it much!

Next i would like to share the shewmai bandung's taste.

We ordered the shewmai (fishmade), potato and pare (bitter gourd). The shewmai tasted so good with basic savory and sweet flavour. While the peanut paste was savory, the chef also added the lime press and sweet soy sauce to add the sweet and fresh sour flavour. It was also tasty, i loved it.

The price for our tea time food plus drink was 75k IDR or around 5.21 USD.

Before i finish this article i would like to tell you that this food court is different with another, cause it had not many table and also customers so you could eat calmly here.
