How to make blueberry-lemon oatmeal the West Virginia way π΅π
(Edited)
You surely have a favorite type of oatmeal, but what if I told you that it would be ever better without the low quality packets? Instead you can use your own ingredients. I am here to provide you with the secret ways of concocting Blueberry-Lemon Oatmeal like a #wv Mountain Man.
I'll do it my own way πΆ
The flavors are so much more intense whenever you get to pick the exact amount and the purity of that which is used. I was always off put by pre-made "fruit-flavored" oatmeal. I choose instead to buy plain oatmeal and doctor it up myself.
In this video I decided upon blueberries & lemonade with blue agave nectar.
The process and result of which is documented for your viewing pleasure.
Thanks for checking out my video ππ€π

You need a mortgage for blueberries in Thailand π We (@ploimrt and I) tend to go for mango-banana and coconut milk with bee pollen sprinkled on top. #powerbreakfast!
Is it really that difficult to get blueberries over there? I'm sure dragonfruit/pitaya (my favorite fruit) is much more affordable than $4 per fruit here in my city.
Your recipe sounds yummy too π€€
We LOVE red dragon fruit - not in season right now but coming soon!! About $1.50 a kg for the red ones and the white ones always cheaper. Yum. We shall have to suffer on for a bit longer with endless mangoes (30 cents/kg today), papaya and lychees. It's a tough job but SOMEone has to, right??
@artemislives We do have too many mangoes in the fridge...
LOL.... seems like they breed in there!!
I've only ever been lucky enough to find the actual fruit in white (I've had red frozen.) Can't beat the price you have though and same goes for many types of local fruits there I am sure. Do you ever eat the papaya seeds in large portions?
