Yo, no tengo esas habilidades culinarias, debo confesarlo, pero me encanta comer y por ende me gusta inventar al momento de cocinar, también motivado a la situación económica por la que estamos viviendo en nuestro país Venezuela, nos hemos visto en la necesidad de ingeniarnos nuevas recetas y diversas maneras de rendir el dinero y la comida. Por tal razón, Tenemos que aprovechar al máximo nuestros recursos y reinventar nuestras costumbres para comer.

Hoy les quiero compartir una sencilla, sana y deliciosa Salsa de Tomates para acompañar unos espaguetis. Con pocos ingredientes, tal como decimos en Venezuela tiene las tres "B" Buena, Bonita y Barata.

Ingredientes:

• 4 Tomates Rojos bien maduros
• 1 Ají
• 1 Cebolla
• Sal y Azúcar al gusto
• Orégano menudito

Today I want to share with you a simple, healthy and delicious Tomato Sauce to go with spaghetti. With few ingredients, as we say in Venezuela it has the three "B's" Good, Nice and Cheap.

Ingredients:

• 4 well ripe Red Tomatoes
• 1 chili bell pepper
• 1 Onion
• Salt and sugar to taste
• Small oregano

Modo de Preparación:

En una olla de tamaño mediano cocinar los tomates por media hora o hasta que se le caiga la piel, dejar enfriarlos y luego quitarles la piel. Picarlos y meterlos en la licuadora con el ají y la cebolla previamente pelados y una cucharada de azúcar.

Method of Preparation:.

In a medium size pot cook the tomatoes for half an hour or until the skin falls off, let them cool and then remove the skin. Chop them and put them in the blender with the peeled chili and onion and a tablespoon of sugar.

Sumultáneamente se coloca en la hornilla un sartén con un poco de aceite para sofreir la salsa hasta el punto de cocción necesaria.

Se remueve lentamente con una paleta de madera para evitar que se pegue, se le coloca sal al gusto u otras especias si así lo desea, como por ejemplo orégano menudito. Mi hermana me recomendó que no lo aplicara porque tiende a quitarle el sabor a los otros componentes; sin embargo, Yo lo usé, hice caso omiso a su comentario y me quedó espectacular.
