Meet my new kitchen friend

For my kitchen I got a new kitchen aid. A black heavy duty stand mixer for efficient mixing and beating. It can knead even the toughest whole grain bread, but can do more, and I had it on my wish list for a while now. And the different speed possibilities can make so many things, and i love it on the kitchen corner.

The kitchen has a black base unit with a whisk, beater and hook.

Also very great are the suckers underneath. So it stays firm on the kitchen counter.

The aluminium bowl is locked with a turn lock and the speed knob is very clear with three different speed possibilities. I took the black one, even thought I thought the red one was great aswell.

The arm with the wisk can be unlocked with a button so safe to use with the kids.

Also this one had a bowl lid, which is very great when the kids want to help. And they love to help in the kitchen.

We made cake with batter, eggs, butter and sugar. Its an easy one but i will make something different soon. This was for saturday evening consumption.

Congrats on your new mixer! You will love it. Since the kids like to help in the kitchen one thing you might want to get is the pasta making attachment. It’s really fun. You make dough and push it through to make noodles.

It's glorious! I tend to be a function before form guy but this is tough and strong and beautiful too. What a nice addition to your kitchen!

I'd have to have the red one, though. I have a thing for red...

If you like chocolate mousse, the kitchen aid comes in real handy for the blending of the chocolate and eggs, and then the fluffing of egg whites and home made whipped cream. makes it a lot easier and less time consuming than a hand help beater.

I Am gonna try everything haha I want to see what bread does and I want to try soufflé dough hahaha there goes the diet

But the sweets and the cookie dough's and the cake mixes, but the time savings is what I love about mine, no more tired arms from holding the hand blender trying to get nicely whipped egg whites or home made whipped cream. (may favorite thing to make in the blender). Who'd of thought heavy cream, vanilla and sugar could taste so good.

Oh, how beautiful. I love those Kitchen Aid products. I expected it to be the color RED like on the box. And your first dessert from it. I have a feeling more great recipes will be whipped up in that master mixer.

I've purchased at least 5 of them; even one as a door prize at our family reunion. But I never kept one for myself. I use a small handmixer for my needs.
