Mixing Korean Fire Noodle and Indomie Mi Goreng Together

HELLO, HIVE!

It's been a week since my last post and during the past seven days I've been having a writer block but now I'm more than happy to get myself together and finally be able to post again.

The other day I saw some people on TikTok tried to cook Korean Fire Noodle and Indomie Mi Goreng together so today I gave it a shot and it tasted really good. These two are my favorite instant noodles and I had so much fun in cooking it. I believe it's also available in some Asian grocery stores for those who don't live in Indonesia.

The two makes a big portion and I wouldn't recommend you to eat it all alone especially because the Korean Fire Noodle is really spicy. If you're not fond of spicy foods please try it at your own risk.

To cook it first you gotta prepare a decent amount of boiled water in a cooking pot (at the moment I use frying pan and that will do too) and put the two noodles in. After that cook them for about 3 to 5 minutes, just until the noodles become quite soft. Don't let them overcooked!

After the noodles become soft and chewy, pour the hot water out of the frying pan into the sink using a collander. I personally don't like my noodles dry so I make sure to leave 3-4 teaspoons of water on it.
Now put the noodles into a plate or medium sized bowl since the two make a big portion and it would be more convenient to use a medium or big one. You can put all the seasoning first but today I put the noodles first and the seasoning on top of it, mix it up and you're good to go.

I shared half of the noodles with my mom because I wouldn't be able to finish them all since it was a lot. To tell you how it taste, I don't know is it because the seasonings are all mixed together or something but it becomes less spicy which I didn't expect. I usually can't finish Korean Fire Noodle and have to use only half of the liquid soup base but this one is pretty tolerable. Overall it tastes really good and worth to try.
