Good Afternoon Hivers,
I live in an environment that is still underdeveloped thereby this environment harbor some sort of dangerous vipers like snakes,lizards, alligators and the likes. I complained to someone a friend of mind actually and he gave me the suggestion of getting onions and cut around the house, that onions wade off snakes and alligators from the environment.
I took a bold step then went to the market myself to get some onions, the reason I didn't onions from nearby neighbors is because of the price, though if I should consider the transport from here to the market its almost the same thing to buy it from neighbor but it will be plenty and cheaper in the market than buying from sellers from neighbors.
After I came back from the market, I did as he suggested
I hope the onions work for what its recommended for.
How would you know that it works? Is it supposed to kill the reptiles or what?
At least, I said it in my last sentence that I hope it works. The only way for me to know is if I don't see them often as before because in my domicile we see them for fun. Finally, the onions might not kill them but it will scare them away because to my friend he said it use to scare them away. Thanks buddy!
Woah! I didn't know that about reptiles being deterred by onions. I know that onions and garlic in your garden help deter some insects, so I've read the recommendation is to plant them in the border on the outside of your garden plot and put the other veggies inside to help keep certain insects away. I wonder if planting them would work for you too?
Yes,sure! I wouldn't mind to try it too here. The reason why I tried the suggestion suggested was that, when I was still a teenager,I could remember vividly that anytime snakes or reptiles found itself in a hole, the next thing elders will do is cut some onions into the hole and immediately after that you will see the snake or reptiles ran out of the hole and probably got killed. So I think onions deterred snakes or reptiles from the environment.
