La sábila bota una sustancia amarillenta y de olor desagradable, llamada Látex que tiene muchos beneficios, así como el cristal de la planta.

Pese a las propiedades y múltiples usos desconocidos, lo cierto es que evitamos ese líquido, ya sea por su feo olor o por lo amargo. Claro que éstas son, en apariencia, buenas razones para rechazarlo desde el mismo momento de cortar una penca de sábila.
