Whether you're a sweet-tooth, a fan of spicy curries, or a forager, this week's Plant Power curation has something for you.

🍲 Deliciousness In Diversity 🌐

From spicy to sweet and savory, I found a lot of flavors from around the globe to share with you all this week. Our gang of #plantbased chefs continues to grow, and it only makes us stronger as a whole.

Hope you're not too hungry when you see what I found, but you'll likely be searching for something for something to eat if you can make it through this post packed with international flavors.

The winner of this week's beneficiary is @luca1777. He wowed me with the protein-packed salad made with roasted potatoes.

How to Be Curated by PLANT POWER

Use the tags #naturalmedicine #vegan or #plantbased
WE don't mind what community you post in - although we prefer you post in the Ecotrain or Natural Medicine communities!
Ensure your recipes are plant based - although we don't preach any diets, this curation would like to focus on plants rather than dairy or meat additions to recipes.
Use clear, well focused photographs - and ORIGINAL content!

Fake apple pie with salted caramel

by: @blackberryskunk

There's nothing fake about this lip-smacking dessert, and perhaps a better name would be "Better Than Apple Pie." Maybe I am biased because I grew up on apple pie full of corn syrup and lacking flavor, so this creation just looks way better than any apple pie out there.

This chef's baking skills are on point, and she's used vegan butter and coconut milk in place of what normally might non-plantbased ingredients. I swear I could literally smell this thing as I read the post.

Banana blossom curry with garlic naan for Veganuary

by: @carolynstahl

Banana blossoms are one of my favorite foods from my former home in Cambodia, but here in Suriname it's not a common food, and we've found locals are too entertained with the thought of somebody cutting near their bananas, so it's a food we've had to give up.

This chef prepared banana blossoms for the first time, and it looks like a delicious success, and a proper meal for the cold temperatures in Canada this time of the year. It only gets better with a fully #plantbased naan.

Coriander and carrot sauce (step by step) (ENG-ESP)

by: @kristal24

Condiments are such an important part of any #plantbased kitchen, because when meat isn't the main flavor we need to more daring and bold with our spices and ingredients, and especially condiments.

With nearly every meal I always serve a relish, dipping sauce, chutney, pickle, or podi, and it can really make dinner a little more exciting. This chef recommends this mean green coriander and carrot sauce with baked potatoes, a good idea indeed.

Vegan Baked Rosemary Potatoes with Triple Vegan Protein

by: @luca1777

After I was curating the previous post, which recommended to serve the sauce with baked potatoes, I found this protein-packed baked potato dish. Sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and lentils make this a very hearty and filling dish, something us physically active folk need.

A lot of these ingredients we no longer have access to in Suriname, a sign of the economic conditions, but the tasty salad he prepared from the roasted potatoes has triggered salad craving, and that is the first thing I will make when I get to a salad friendly location.

🍆🥕 My Landlords' Plants 🍅🥒

by: @kidsisters

This young Hiver has been wanting to post within the Natural Medicine Community for a long time, but it's been hard for her to come up with a post idea. She decided to show us all the edible things around her apartment and landlord's property.

From mangos to plantains, pumpkin flowers to taro leaves, and much more, this young #plantbased chef-in-training knows how to use most of these ingredients in the kitchen too. Forage what you can girl, just make sure your landlord doesn't catch you.

We hope you get involved with posting lots of yummy #plantbased #vegan #naturalmedicine #ecotrain recipes! Both communities are now also supported by OCD, so good quality posts might also get a little bit of extra love. Stay healthy, stay safe, and stay happy!

Of course Srey-Yuu, your blogging is getting better by the day, and I can see how much Hive has helped you improve your English. Once upon a time @riverflows told me it would be cool if you made a video about your favorite #plantbased foods and why you like them. I think this would be a good idea too. !ENGAGE 10
