Planting New Seeds | Mustard and Pechay

A week ago, I decided to plant new seeds to our little garden. By the way our garden is a year old now and we have planted variety of vegetables when we started it. For a little background about our garden you can find it here.

We still have seeds available and I was hoping they're not expired yet. So we tried our luck. With the hope that we will have success! Our girls helped me. We planted mustard and pechay.

These are the mustard seeds.

And so the seeds were planted. We waited for few days. Our children were very excited and they can't help but check the soil every time and reports to me if the seeds have grown. LOL.

Then after four days...

No sign of life for the pechay. So I thought, the seeds were expired.

To my surprise, after another 3 days some pechay seeds have grown but very few. I am still happy.

On the other hand, the mustard have grown bigger. Soon ready to be transplanted.

This time, I will need to prepare the soil and pots for transplanting which will be tomorrow or a day after tomorrow.

This is my garden update. I also have water spinach which had been sitting in kitchen for days soak in water. Transplanting it very soon too!

Happy gardening! Keep safe and stay healthy!
