Meditation Music: Connection and Cure

Meditation, Connection and Cure

"What is the cure for all illnesses? Or, at least, for the illness of the soul?" Do we have an answer for these so deep and, yet, so simple questions? We surely do!

Calming down our hearts, emptying our minds from our egocentric thoughts and devoting our time to positive actions towards ourselves and the Planet are clearly some of the best remedies and great steps to find cure for our diseases! And we all can begin in our homes. But how? Meditating!

Most people just lost the ability to create a connection to their own souls and this is one huge cause of our inner illnesses. When the strong bonds are once again built between mind, body and soul, there will be relief for many specific problems that attack us all, especially those so well-know problems like depression and apathy.

We all can find healing in ourselves.

Meditation Music

Many people are always disturbed by noise from outside, or even distracted by their cell phones. These situations are real problems when living in a big city, or just nearby crowded streets. If it is possible, play an inspiring music and let the melody carry you to a place where you've never been before or, in other words, back to your soul!

I am used to meditate with music and the one below is one of my favorities. I heard it for the first time in my yoga class back in 2017 and I could never stop listening to it. It brought tears to my eyes at that very moment and all I could do was to cry and embrace the Master that is living inside of me and listen to him. That was a wonderful moment!

This video brings images of Neem Karoli Baba, a Hindu Guru, and the music is performed by one of his devotees, Krishna Das. Press play, close your eyes...

Mere Gurudev.

Mere Gurudev Lyrics

Mere Gurudev, charanon par
My Guru I offer these flowers

sumana shraddha ke arpita hai
of my faith at your feet

Tere hee dena hai jo hai
Whatever I have, you have given to me

Wahi tujha ko samarapita hai
and I dedicate it all to you

Na priti hai pratiti hai
I have no love, nor do I know you

na hi puja ki shakti hai
I don’t even have the strength to worship you

Meraa yaha man, meraa yaha tan,
But this mind of mine, this body of mine

meraa kan kan samarapita hai
my every atom is dedicated to you

Tuma hee ho bhaava men mere
You are the only one in my heart and my thoughts

vicharon mein, pukaron mein
You are the one who I call out to

Banaale yantra ab mujhko
Now Make me your instrument

mere saravatra samarapita hai
all I am I offer to you
