Soy milk Making vegetable milk is a good option for those who want to change habits and are also allergic to cow's milk

I prepared this milk to make desserts for Santiago! When I was little they gave me soy milk because I suffered a lot from allergies.

As a mother, I have learned a lot about the reasons for allergies, my baby's pediatrician is a nutritionist and the part of feeding is essential to avoid allergies.

This milk is used as the base of preparation for cheese and mayonnaise (or dressing for salads).

For the milk you will need
250g of soybeans
1.5 L of water
1 blender
1 diaper cloth
1 spoon
1 cup
1 strainer

Preparation
Select soybeans

We clean the selected soybeans

We put it to soak in water for 12 hours (enough amount to overflow the grains)

After 12 hours, we peel the soybeans, we will see what is white or beige.

We go through a strainer to remove the water

We put the soybeans in the blender, for each cup of soybeans there are 4 cups of water.

Blend at high speed for 5min

At the end of the 5 min, we proceed to pass milk through the diaper cloth, we are going to squeeze it to extract the milk

We repeat this until we filter all the milk

We proceed to boil the milk for 20min, you can add spices such as cinnamon, cloves.

Store in sterilized glass containers

Lasts in the fridge for 5 days

By the way, the remaining soybean meal can be dried and roasted to use it in flours to make arepa or bread.

And that's it, you have the soy milk, from here we will make several preparations 💓❤️

It's a amazing idea. I have not seen such kind of extracting milk from soya. I shall try next time to do so and thank you very much for sharing this extract with us.
