RE: Herbert's Cookbook - Dhansak Dinner

Don't know what to say other than keep the recipes/stories coming!! Looks delicious, and even though I fancy myself as an Indian chef, I've only heard the word dhansak a few times, wasn't sure why I am not famliar with the dish. Then I did some googlin', turns out it's intended traditionally as a goat/mutton dish, so that probably explains why I've never eaten it in a restaurant.

You're killing it with the recipes, love seeing another man chef in the ranks.

Yeah man! I have a lot of fun creating traditional "meat" dishes without the meat. It's funny because people always challenge it; like "how is that possible?" But it's so easy.. like so easy. Just remove one ingredient, and add another. 😂 I'm allergic to a lot of different seafoods and stopped eating all of them at a young age because of mis-identification issues. I loved sushi. But people would say "but you don't eat fish; you can't eat sushi".......

Thank you Justin! As I keep mentioning, I never expected such a reception. It's so encouraging. And, as I've said before, it's great motivation to keep track of my recipes. Because so often I spend hours and hours cooking something and completely forget what I did; and will probably never do it again. Not anymore!
