Hahaha lol that's a funny story - admitting to your alcohol indulgence. I have never used alcohol as an adult. However, the power of meditation is powerful. If you struggle to calm your mind and are too much in your head to sit quietly to meditate, then I recommend movement. Traditionally yoga postures was a good workout, as it is a way to pull you out of being too much in your head and gets you focused on the body in a healthy way. Or if you prefer, then just go for a long walk or a jog on the beach. This will tire you out a bit and relax the mind, as well as fill it with good hormones like dopamine. And when you use alcohol, then drink loads of water.

Thanks, your tips seem helpful. I will try that for sure. I know about water but sometimes I forgot to drink. That's most drunkards do. hahaha
