Lovely Lockdown Level 3: Again

What a peculiar evening, Monday. An immediate return to Level 3 lockdown. With some yet to be explained adjustments. I am very concerned for my friends who own little pubs and bars.

The supper prep was punctuated by pretty feline pictures. First of Princess Pearli watching the world go by at the top of the drive way. Then Rambo called for supper and by way of thank you, bared his fangs and hissed. Twice. But didn't leave until he'd had his fill.

Tonight's meatfree Monday was a melange of carrot, green tomato and courgette (these two from the garden) with roasted peppers and harissa.

Served with rice. A combination I shall do again.

Until next time, be well

Yes our level3 lockdown once more, is another blow to our economy, especially as we live in a tourist resort on the coast. All beaches banned! Curfew by 9pm until 6am. The sun is up at 5am and yet we are imprisoned! And businesses, as you say, devastated still further. The madness continues. Therefore even more the need for a deep soul insight into the real values of our precious life, beyond the temporary mundane ups and downs.

Such strange times in which we live. We've been in an elevated state of lockdown since the weekend before Christmas because the case count spiked... and we already notched up one level from summer before the Thanksgiving holiday in late November.

Seems most people have long forgotten back in the spring when the "experts" were saying the spread would decline in summer, and then suddenly rise again in the late fall/winter.

Of course, your seasons are opposite ours... so not clear on your entire history down there.

Ours is related to post matric party events as well as the social gatherings associated with the end of the year, Christmas and the end of year parties. What any parent wat thinking allowing their children to browbeat them into letting them go, I'm damned if I know.

Stay well

Life is like a yo yo now, where I am in UK, we've been going up and down from Tier 3 to 2 and back up to 3 a week later. Feel so sorry for the restaurants as the difference is between sit in and takeaway only. Hope your friends will be ok.

And you take care Fiona!
