Had the COVID-19 Jab, Feel Fucking Awful.

avatar
(Edited)

Some short content from me today. I had the Astra Zenica jab at 10am on Sunday morning. No problem, I didn't even feel the needle go in.

6_IMG_5466_6.jpg

...'my needle was immeasurably cleaner than this specimen'...

All that day I was fine. At 4am this morning I was awoken by a horrendous headache. Today, I have had to book off work.

If this is what mini-COVID feels like, the real thing must be fucking terrible. I can barely get out of bed.

On a positive note the NHS were great. Within 10 minutes it was all done and dusted. Don't let me put you off getting the jab. You don't want the real thing.

So interesting to see the different effects of the different vaccines... many people say no trouble after first vaccine, but that it gets really tough after the second shot. But with Astra Zeneca, I have heard about quite a lot of people in quite severe pain already after first shot..

It’s so strange the side effect distribution curve, some have none some have severe - I guess it shows atleast just how strange the genetic material / live virus acts on our immune system response

Don't say that, I have had enough of it already. 2nd jab is booked in June.

Well... I am not sure about the Astra Zeneca vaccine, but I know those who have gotten the second shot of Pfizer have felt really bad afterward... Probably something like what you are feeling right now!

Oh... don't be like that!

I hear you may need a covid vaccine passport to travel as a requirement in the future. Are you going to travel by illegal rowing boat to Europe? Have some !WINE.

A) it’s all bullshit, and would be discriminatory, i can’t see it happening. The only thing I would consent to is providing a negative test.
B) what’s !WINE, something else I need to learn?

A week sounds horrible. My mother has had both jabs, and didn't make a big deal out of the side-effects. I will ask her in more details during our next conversation. !WINE

A guy in my work felt pretty rotten after getting it. Just think though, safe from fatality style COVID. Thats quite good!

I know multiple people who have had it. 'worse thing I have had in 20 years' @steddyman said. I should be spared now! !WINE

Sounds bloody awful. I genuinely think I had it way back last march. I was ill with what seemed like the flu for over a week and at one point the good lady said I was a word grey colour was breathless as feck too. Kinda hope it was!

My wife is a nurse here in AU and she’s getting hers on Wednesday. They’re so short staffed at the moment that they’re making them get it when they have a few days off so they don’t call in sick.

that they’re making them get it when they have a few days off so they don’t call in sick.

Fucking hell, how gracious of them.... 'We see you are due to take some vacation, you are forced to take the vaccine the day before'.

I hardly felt the needle either. I ran the next day, but then had flu-like symptoms for the rest of the day. Didn't last longer than that. From what I've read about long COVID it's worth avoiding if you can.

Get well soon.

Does !BEER mix with wine? I'm sure you'll be over it soon.

Does !BEER mix with wine?

Only the virtual type, I do feel better. Would recommend anyone to take a day off once the symptoms start. It's a necessary evil.

My parents took this jab, Covid Sheild, its derived from this Astra Zenica. My Dad experienced pain on the arm where he was injected, but my mother had fever and could not get out of bed and was weak.

I don't trust these vaccines...anyway they are alright now.

A week in bed due to the vaccine? that is harsh. Still.. it's free and better than the real thing.

I meant weak not week...she was weak and could not get up just for a day or 2 after the vaccine along with mild fever.

I get my first jab on Friday, I'm hoping I don't get any symptoms from it. Was told it's more likely people who have already had covid will manifest symptoms, so gonna brace myself for that. No way it can be anywhere as shit as the actual virus though.

I feel OK again today, if it hits you, it's like a bad flu but just for one day. !WINE.

Hope you feel better. We are so short-staffed here, we were kindly given preference, on your own time. :)

I hope you feel better soon. Nasty stuff.

We're a bit lagging on the vaccine front here in AU. Still not sure what I feel about it.

Not sure what this post has to do with natural medicine?

Not sure what this post has to do with natural medicine?

Me being lazy, an un-natural medicine would have been more appropriate but I couldn't find one.

My buddy Steve said his first shot didn't affect him at all, but after the second one he was out for the whole day. I am kind of scared now, but honestly can't wait to get it! It's taking forever for middle aged people to get access to it here in Los Angeles...

The UK will likely remain on the international blacklist until the majority of you all have been jabbed. Let us know if you can't taste salt or grow an extra toe, or anything we should be on the lookout for.
