Welcome once again to curation of the Water Turtle on Wednesday, your servant @towatia, taking this curation column forward to recognize the work we are doing in our Hive community.

This week of curation, I was motivated by several of the qualities of the water turtle to heal feelings. Its traveling spirit, to find its way through new experiences and knowledgements. I also wanted to work on the devotion, as the flowers, being so beautiful and sweet, represent the best of us.
As in previous weeks I also chose a photograph, so that we do not lose the idea of stopping for a few moments in our journey to appreciate what surrounds us.

Finally, I would like all of us to make a greater effort to strengthen our ties as a community through our publications, and that these be a way to get to know each other better. This is the desire of @adiwathrive as a community, and of your servant the water turtle, putting her shell to transport you serenely in the waters and immerse you into the depths.

Bienvenidos una vez más al miércoles de curación de la tortuga de agua, su servidora @towatia, llevando adelante ésta columna de curación para reconocer el trabajo que llevamos adelante en nuestra comunidad de Hive.

Ésta semana de curación me sentí motivada por varias de las cualidades de la tortuga de agua para sanar sentimientos. Su espíritu viajero, para encontrar el camino haciéndose de nuevas experiencias y conocimientos. También quise trabajar la devoción, ya que las flores al ser tan hermosas y dulces, representan lo mejor de nosotros mismos.

Como en semanas anteriores escogí también una fotografía para que no perdamos de la idea de detenernos unos momentos en nuestro viaje para apreciar lo que nos rodea.

Finalmente, me gustaría que todos hiciéramos un mayor esfuerzo por estrechar nuestros lazos como comunidad a través de nuestras publicaciones, y que sean estos un medio para conocernos mejor. Este es el deseo de @adiwathrive como comunidad, y de su servidora la tortuga de agua, poniendo su caparazón para transportarles serenos en las aguas y sumergirles en la profundidad.

I volunteered on a San Pedro retreat (medicinal psychedelic cactus)

This first post by @celestialcow tells us about her journey to the knowledge of the ancestral medicine of the San Pedro, an Andean cactus that grows naturally, of a blue-green color with 8 elongated ribs. Consumed for medicinal purposes and the search for vision from the ancestral indigenous medicine.

I have had the opportunity to attend San Pedro ceremonies, as I traveled to Peru and Bolivia. The medicine given by the San Pedro opens the heart and shows the composition and decomposition of things, that is, matter. Everything feels alive, vibrating with a rhythm that encompasses everything from the chakra heart.

When the San Pedro cleanses your mind, body and spirit, during the ceremony it can lead you to feel a little bad about your body, as happened to the author of this post, but as I understand it is normal, I saw it happen many times.

Este primer post de @celestialcow nos relata su viaje hacia el conocimiento de la medicina ancestral del San Pedro, un cactus andino que crece de forma natural, de color verde azulado con 8 costillas de forma alargado. Consumido con fines medicinales y la búsqueda de visión desde la medicina ancestral indígena.

He tenido la oportunidad de asistir a ceremonias de San Pedro, ya que viajé al Perú y Bolivia. La medicina que da el san pedro abre el corazón y muestra la composición y descomposición de las cosas, es decir de la materia. Todo se siente vivo, vibrando con un ritmo que lo abarca todo desde el chakra corazón.

Cuando el San Pedro te limpia mente, cuerpo y espíritu, durante la ceremonia puede llevar a hacerte sentir un poco mal del cuerpo, como le sucedió a la autora de este post, pero según tengo entendido es normal, lo vi suceder en repetidas oportunidades.

Amores en cuarentena | ¿Gracias a Hive?

@ambarvegas wrote this love story in times of quarantine; it is written in three parts, and it is about female empowerment, the ability to focus on oneself despite the desire for illusion, and fantasy.

This story is part of the contest that @jossduarte prepared for amor en hive and is their first contest.

What is interesting for me is the medium where the encounter between two people, who previously knew each other and meet again in this virtual medium, takes place. Medium definitely not because it is virtual is less real. Every day the communities Blockchain make millions and millions of users interconnect by interests, and since covid-19 appeared in our lives, it seems that the virtual serves more and more as a meeting point.

The Hive community is the connection point between both characters.

With this post I call for us to act as the author, let's risk inviting others to make community in #Hive.

@ambarvegas escribió este relato de amor en tiempos de cuarentena; está escrito en tres partes, y va sobre empoderamiento femenino, la capacidad de centrarse en sí mismo a pesar del deseo de la ilusión, y la fantasía.

Este relato es parte del concurso que @jossduarte preparó para amor en hive y es su primer concurso.

Lo interesante para mi es el medio donde se produce el encuentro entre dos personas, que previamente se conocían y se reencuentran en este medio virtual. Medio definitivamente no por ser virtual es menos real. Cada día las comunidades Blockchain hacen que millones y millones de usuarios se interconecten por intereses, y desde que el covid-19 apareció en nuestras vidas, parece lo virtual sirve más y más de punto de encuentro.

La comunidad de Hive es el punto de conexión entre ambos personajes.

Con este post hago un llamado para que actuemos como la autora, arriesguémonos a invitar a otros a hacer comunidad en #Hive.

En el hinduismo, las flores representan la devoción absoluta, que es cuando entregamos lo mejor de nosotros mismos y estamos presentes en todo momento.

Gracias a su belleza natural, las flores son objeto de ofrenda en los cultos y están presentes en nuestras celebraciones, ceremonias de vida y muerte.

Las flores nos evocan emociones, son medicina para curar las vibraciones de baja frecuencia que nos mantienen en miedo, como es el caso por ejemplo de las Flores de Bach. Las flores son la base de perfumes, cremas, comidas, medicinas, entre otros múltiples usos que tienen más allá de su belleza.

Este post de @fanyokami nos muestra el proceso de reproducción de las flores de su jardín, y cómo ha venido descubriendo los diferentes tipos que existen, así como sus aplicaciones. Me parece muy bonito porque tiene sentido de proceso, es decir que muestra su avance y lo que fue descubriendo, un despertar de lo sensible.

Finally connecting us with the energy of water, this last cure of the photographs of @gamer00 that invite us to clear our minds and flow in the tranquility that gives us to take the time to stop and appreciate where we are.

These photographs are of Lake Joutjärvi in Finland, 4 km wide and 50cms deep. A rather cold landscape for those of us who live near the equator, but with the tranquility that it transmits reminds me that this is how we should be to assume these times, with grace and serenity.

For now, your servant the water turtle bids you farewell, wishing you all the good, intelligent and necessary things in your lives.

Finalmente conectándonos con la energía del agua, esta última curation de las fotografías de @gamer00 que invitan a despejar nuestra mente y a fluir en la tranquilidad que da tomarse el tiempo para detenerse y apreciar donde nos encontramos.

Estas fotografías son del lago Joutjärvi en finlandia, de 4 km de ancho y 50cms de profundidad. Un paisaje bastante frío para quienes vivimos cerca del ecuador, pero que con la tranquilidad que transmite me recuerda que así es como debemos estar para asumir estos tiempos, con gracia y serenidad.

Por ahora se despide de ustedes su servidora la tortuga de agua, deseándoles todo lo bueno, lo inteligente y lo necesario en sus vidas.
