Some time I decided to call this format LONGOGRAPHY. Don't look in Wikipedia and in other sources of information. I made up this word and use it everywhere with the images of this format - 135 Picture Size: 24x58mm - is what said in the specifications of this wonderful camera.
According to Lomography :
"Going back to the Horizon 202, the most common version was manufactured by the Krasnogorsky Mechanichesky Zavod (KMZ) — best known for being the maker of Zorki and Zenit cameras — from 1991 to 2003 in Russia as a successor of the older Horizont."

And the special giftedness of this camera is the capability to shoot ultra wide-angle images - thanks to the prime lens installed in this camera :

Focal Length: 28 mm
Maximum relative aperture: f/2.8
Angular field of the lens: 120° × 45°

My one is unfortunately already stopped working due some mechanical problem, actually two issues but somehow I continued to bypass the inability to rewind the film with the broken rewinder but now the shutter button just got stuck and don't fire the mechanism anymore. But I have very warm memories of the dozens of rolls I photographed with this camera. Have to get to myself another one.

And finally the camera.

Here we go. I just created this Analog (FILM) Photog. I'm still learning the community managing process, so please be patient. And we also need your help - so don't hesitate to join even if you don't use any analog camera. Sure you will find some special stuff photographed by amazing photographers with their Film cameras.

What a cool format this is, I saw some of these cameras or similar ones in shops in Vienna. If I see one again I will not hesitate to get myself one of these gems.

agree cool format.
read about different Horizon cameras before you buy one for yourself. There is a new Lomography Horizon with limited exposure features. so don't buy the new shiny one ..
