Do you resteem your own posts?

In an earlier dpoll

I didn't receive the answer but figured it out myself.

If you write an article it shows up in your steemit.com account as a post.
A post is not a blog and you need to resteem it to be seen by others.

This is a nasty thing since if you do not resteem you can't be seen.

I do not use steemit.com but @partiko and at times @esteemapp or Steempeak to schedule.

To be honest, I feel annoyed about this whole new "hive/community" thing made by steemit.
I need to visit steemit.com to resteem each post of mine to be sure it is seen by everyone, including other communities - and not only by the hive I used.
It takes me a lot of extra time trying to load steemit.com.
I do not like to use at least 3 different sites/apps to publish once.
