Do you make your own lunch?

It doesn't take much to make your own lunch instead of buying it in a restaurant or at the gas station (these days supermarkets sell lunches too. Some salad with cold pasta for 7 euros, a sandwich for 3 - 7.50 euros...)

It's common in the Netherlands to bring your lunch along.
No matter if you are at school or at work.

It's not difficult to cut an onion if you use one that is hard and you have a good knife.
It only takes a minute.

In the past month I made a burger with onions twice for the bus-kid.
Somehow I forgot we used to eat it this way. The first time I made it he loved it. So no McDerrie burgers for us.

All bread is good to make a burger.
Toast read is fine too. The special bread for burgers is four times more expensive and it looks like a lump of dough.

Onions on top... The sauce will be added later.

With the onions I fried some mushrooms.

I added them into the lunchbox next to the bread.

That wasn't very smart. The bread got a but wet but it still tasted fine and I had put napkins with it.

This was my dinner. Onions and mushrooms with some salt. It was the best meal since long. Onions are not expensive but mushrooms are. I tried to grow mushrooms myself but I think it's too cold here.
