Do you think that the fear of corona virus is deadlier than the actual virus?

Hi friends!

Corona virus outbreak is very dangerous as it has killed thousands of people so far all over the world. In many countries people have become panic and also governments are behaving the same.

It no doubt instigates a deadly infection but the rate of mortality is less than 2 percent. However, news channels, news papers and media is creating panic and chaos. Do you also think that the fear of corona virus is deadlier than the actual virus?

I do not know whether the "fear" itself are deadly or not, but the virus is about 50/50.
Approximately/about the half (52.25%) (48 175) of the confirmed cases (92 196) are recovered, but sad to see that the 3.39% of them died. You can find the statistics in this post: COVID-19 today (2020.03.03).

If it bleeds, it leads. The stories are popular because the media loves anything that invokes fear. Fear brings in the clicks.
