Do you believe in the existence of secret societies?

Conspiracy theorists believe that there exists some secret societies in the world which try to manipulate the political, economic and social life of all the people in the world. They believe secret societies like Illuminati, New world order etc. are in fact governing us. They believe these people control banks, financial institutions and also politicians.

Do you agree with them? Do you believe in the existence of secret societies?

I believe that every country with at least a sizeable population will have its own "secret society", and who knows what they exactly do. What I believe is that there are people that are too rich and powerful that most people don't even know (and don't bother to know) about, and they discreetly yet effectively control the population, starting from the top (the leaders).

What do people in power want? More power.
