The duck are finally migrating south, in north east Oklahoma.

I stopped by my special place to take a break tonight, and found the pond full of ducks. About 50 landed after I got there, and doubled the duck population of the pond!

Here is why I go there:

It depressurizes me every time I stop there! I also noticed the Tonight was no different in the relaxation area, but I had company.

This is a fun trick I learned on my cell camera. By activating the flash, I can force the camera to max out it's light collecting settings. This picture was taken just after the top picture, so you can see that it does well raising ambient light levels!

At the distance they were swimming, the flash was useless; except for forcing the camera to work harder to get my image.

There were a lot of ducks there:

One negative is that the ducks didn't like the flash, and began swimming away!

It was a traffic jam:

They were using a dive bomber approach, coming down at a very steep angle. I guess the normal landing is hard, because the 'runway' was clogged! I was unable to get a good picture of this odd landing method, because they came in Fast. That, combined with the low light; made pictures of this impossible. But the landing fight was done at about 80 degrees! I guess that would help if I had a shotgun instead of a camera too....

They were quite vocal about me disturbing them, or they were planning their migration route, LOL 😆😁😆
