A walk in the Park
Beyond my daily photos today, I just have to post some of the photos I took on my walk today! There's a TON of them, but I'm just too eager to share them to wait.
My wife and I like to try and get out for a walk every day partly because my toddler is a never-ending source of energy and parks and playgrounds are a great way to get an hour or so of nap out of the tiny human.
Today's walk we set out just as it began to rain - which was actually really pleasant! It wasn't too hard of a shower, and it cooled off the otherwise hot day.
This particular park is a wild grass and flower preserve - so there are dedicated paths but anything outside of the mowed section is to be completely left alone so that our natural Saskatchewan grasses and flowers can bloom. It's absolutely beautiful, and the smell today with the light rain was amazing.
This little guy had an absolute blast cruising down these paths!
We had a great time, and I got just a ton of photos of some of our wildflowers, the clouds, and some birds. I'll release them more this week, but to give you a taste...
Here are some Canadian hate-birds... er... geese:
And a Brown Eyed Susan (which is a protected flower here - you are absolutely not allowed to pick these ever, under any circumstances):
Now, that's all for now - but I'll definitely be putting out a bunch more photos over the course of the next week or so!

TREEEEEEEEEES! GREEN THINGS! 😦
Trees, tall grass, and water that isn't the ocean! lmao!
With how hot it's been lately (And more importantly how much of a wussy I am about the heat) I'll gladly give up the trees for not +30 lol
Hahahah thats entirely fair! It has been a brutal week here.
