Add more black to your photos - Tips

I continue to create and apply new editing presets in Adobe Lightroom that are great for the dewy photos I've been taking at home.

This time I wanted to do something more interesting by increasing the black color present in the photos. As you can see, this make the focus of the bokeh much more prominent.

By incrementing the contrast we must understand that it will also remarkably raise the saturation, so we must counteract it and work the image adjusting the intensity of each color, according to our preferences.

It is also important to know that, as we will maximize the black color, the photo may look smoky and this criterion may not be useful for all the images.

Something that comes very well to recover the information by increasing the black, is a graduated filter or working with a brush in those areas that were opaque.

Another advice I give is to increase the clarity and high lights in the areas where you apply the filters.

In general, it's good to modify the mid-tones in the RBG curve and modify the parameters according to what you chose as the main character in your photo.

I hope you like the pictures and you will find this information useful.

Take care, folks.

la imagen tiene que tener mucha luz y desenfoque para que funcione un poco mejor
