The spell of Velvetine Suicide!

Enjoying the end of a busy day and a busy week. We’ve been firing on all cylinders […shit, I just realized in the next decade or two, that phrase won’t even make sense] at @eos.detroit. Again, I hate that I can’t say more but there’s going to be some big announcements next week. I’ll be doing my best to allude to what we’ve been working on without giving it all away, tomorrow at noon PST chatting about photography, art and NFT’s with @crimsonclad on her podcast. Really looking forward to it, so tune if you can!

Tonight, I have new NSFW photography to share from my February shoot with Velvetine Suicide. Just a couple of weeks earlier, I bought a new Nikon Z6II camera and 35mm Z mount lens. It was a big investment and although I played with the camera a bit, I wanted an opportunity to really put it through its paces. To do that, I booked a room at 300 Clifton in Uptown Minneapolis and set this collaboration up. I’ve known her for almost 10 years and we’ve shot together several times.

She is one of the easiest models to shoot. She takes wonderful direction, she’s gorgeous and she’s incredibly talented at creating her own unique wardrobe. Her style is ethereal and dreamlike, her make-up is always on point and she’s a hairstylist by professional. She does it all. We moved throughout the many rooms of the Clifton mansion capturing a variety of lighting situations to test the range of exposures under each condition. It was flawless.

I have one more set of photos with Velvetine Suicide still to come. So far, this has been my favorite set of edits. I love them. It’s been difficult to fit in my nightly Hive post with the workload I’m trying to maintain at @eos.detroit, but its always worth sacrificing some sleep to hit an art or photography update on the blockchain. I have a shoot coming up this Sunday, so there will be new work soon to come. In the meantime, follow me here for more.
