Dark pinup w/ Montreal burlesque beauty, Força!

Checking in, Steemit! I missed my blog time last night on account of a pounding headache and mistakenly leaving my Wacom pen at @caffetto, requiring an urgent drive back to the coffee shop before it closed. My morning started better than it ended, though, as @ericvancewalton and I had a chance to meet for tea and a valuable conversation about writing. These Steemit meetups, like the one I had with @veryspider in Melbourne, and @timcliff’s previous Minneapoli meetups, are cherished experiences that’ve come with my time here.

Tonight was Family Fun Night at the @kommienezuspadt residence. We do it every Thursday. Tonight, we all did an assembly line of washing, rinsing and drying dishes, then crawled in to our giant bed to read books and Kindles together. Afterwards, we came down stairs, put the couches together and watched Wrath of the Titans on our 1080p projector. Quite possibly, a perfect day. Once @guthrie went to bed, I sat down to work and I’ finished a set of three new edits with Montreal burlesque performer, Força!

Força booked her shoot for Viva Las Vegas very close to the Rockabilly Weekend, only a few weeks before I got on a place for LA and Vegas. We got things in order, found a few hours we’d be able to shoot together, and went ahead with our trip. This ended up being one of the most stressful times of the two week tour, as everything went off the rails hours before the scheduled evening session. My earlier shoot ran late. I more or less had to do two dark pinup sessions at the same time, but I still think these images came out great.

I have one more set of edits to complete of Força and then we’ll be squared up. I’m trying to stick to everything I need to complete from Australia and New Zealand. @vermillionfox will be working tomorrow, and @guthrie will be visiting a friend in the evening, so I should be able to bull through quite a few edits, assuming I don’t get caught up in MTG games at @caffetto. Black, my favorite color. I was impressed to see the painting behind the beautiful model, and was interested in seeing the great work of @veryspider with his beautiful paintings.
Listening to Family Fun Night at your residence, I appreciate the ideal family with togetherness.

Hi Lars, I just got your post. Headaches are very disturbing indeed. I also often feel headaches. But I always have a stock of powerful headache medicines. I think you are really great having a family day. .especially for your family who live in big cities. At night after all activities are completed, it is indeed a good time to complete your assignment. And I think your meeting with @ericvancewalton must also be very pleasant. Have a nice day, sir.

Amazing shots for Força, I don't actually have those Thursdays where im actually free to hang out with friends, surely it would have been awesome with Eric.

Great work! It was nice catching up with you over tea and hearing about your future projects and plans. Keep pushing forward with it no matter what, that idea is a winner.

You're welcome! There's some of that insecure writer left in all of us, no matter how long we're in the game. You have amazing ideas and the drive to bring them to the world. I have no doubt you'll accomplish it.
