It was a beautiful summer morning in Glenmore beach, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

Hubby wanted to go fishing early and I decided, I will go with to catch the sunrise. We have a saying in my native language if translated it says: "the early morning has gold in the mouth".

I am not a morning person but once in awhile when I make the effort to go down to the beach it always is worth it.

It's a very positive experience to see the birth of a new day. No two sunrises are the same. Each time a new portrait is painted for us.

It starts with just a pink glow and then the sun starts to show itself. Just a small round coloured ball tinting the horizon in hues of pink, yellow and orange. Here were we stay the sun rises out of the Indian ocean.

As it rises it grows bigger and more glorious. Then the sun is fully up showing off it's full glorious and stunning beauty.

I love to photograph the sun while rising like I did in these pictures. It was all taken one summers morning in 2019. Photos were taken with a SamsungS6.
