I will just say that I saw a lot of comments that are a lot better than blogposts, and it is not rare to see that they are rewarded with a lot more upvotes, too...

I agree, all that needs to happen is a conversation starter and those that want to engage will take it further. often providing a greater conversation.
Like the one word prompt #freewrite, provide the prompt and people will write. Provide the subject matter and people will respond
