Hard Love .:. Hump Day Easy Talk
I have created this "series" with an idea to do vlogs with some "easy" topics, or just vlogging about some stuff in my life, or life on the chain... But, somehow on Wednesday, always come some hard topics and talks... So, this title has no too much meaning... lol...
In this video, I have mentioned two posts (and comments) that have inspired me to create it... One was by @jangle, the vlog that she created was about listening each other, but for realz... :)... and the other post that I mentioned was my weirdly named Garbage Truck Story from two days ago... Please check both of them and of course, check comments on them because some real gems are there...
One thing that I have noticed here on this social media network is that people are different than at the "ordinary" one (FB, YT, IG...)... Some people are acting the same here and there, and that is normal, but there is another phenomenon that I didn't see in other places...
On other SMN you can see a lot of mean comments, everyone is arguing with everyone, nobody listens to no one, and there is a ton of "discussion" without reaching any point or meaning... So, shortly said... it's a mess... lol... And, if you go on that road, and get lured into the discussion, you are done... lol... Your life is lost...
On the other side, here on Hive, or any other decentralized network, you will not see tons of engagement (like 100+ comments on posts... it happens, but rarely), but you will see valuable comments and discussions... There will be a couple of them, but you will notice in most of them that people do CARE about what they are writing... They are adding value to the content, contributing to the topic, help to the author (and other readers), or just adding their 2 cents...
And, yes... those 2 cents are sometimes REAL 2 cents, as you are very often rewarded for commenting and engaging with others... Please don't forget to check out the video for more details... ;)

Hump day means that you have rached the peak and still catching your breath, so no wonder the topics are not always light.
Good friends engage, bad friends insult.
Having said that, no matter what our comment and where the motivation comes from, the way that someone respionds is purely their own responsibility throgh their own subjective experience. (unless of course you make a deliberatly intentful hurtful comment)
I think comments that add value are an indication that they want to be engaged in the discussion.
I like that the trend is about keeping discourse open these days, everyone has something to say, If they are spending the time to watch or read something then spend the time to engage.

This is a big truth... And that counter of views inside the 3Speak platform sometimes shows the exact number of comments... :)

People think about the same thing in different ways. You will get to know others' points of view in the comment. You can get some new ideas that you might have never thought that way.
