Rural Life : Looking Farmers Activities at Growing Season

This morning I explored the routine of a number of farmers who began to enter the growing season in the countryside not far from where I live. A number of people are carrying out their activities in the rice fields.

Pagi ini saya mengeksplore rutinitas sejumlah petani yang mulai memasuki musim tanam di pedesaan yang tak jauh dari tempat saya berdomisili. Sejumlah masyarakat sedang melaksanankan aktivitas mereka di persawahan.

Some are preparing rice seeds for sowing, others are leveling the soil after being plowed by a tractor. Neither did a number of tractor workers who were carrying out their activities plowing rice fields around the area.

Ada yang sedang mempersiapkan bibit padi untuk disemai, ada juga yang sedang meratakan tanah paska dibajak oleh traktor. Begitupula sejumlah pekerja traktor yang sedang melakukan aktivitas mereka membajak persawahan di sekitar kawasan tersebut.

Luckily I left early, the weather was still very cold, it seemed the fog left over from the night was still blanketing around the rice fields. This atmosphere is very soothing, and I managed to document some pictures of activities and panoramas of rice fields that are very beautiful.

Beruntungnya saya berangkat lebih pagi, cuaca yang masih dingin terasa sekali, tampak kabut-kabut sisa semalam masih menyelimuti sekitar areal persawahan. Suasana ini sangat menyejukkan, dan saya berhasil mendokumentasikan beberapa gambar aktivitas serta panorama persawahan yang sangat indah.
