Traveling to the rural area of Aceh is an indispensable hobby.

Besides getting the chance to see beautiful nature, the atmosphere in the morning here is very fresh and not contaminated with pollution like in cities.

This area is one of the small sub-districts in my province, to reach it requires a trip of up to 2 hours.

Apart from the beautiful natural scenery, of course a variety of wild plants attracted my attention to take some pictures.

One that I found was a tree that was quite tall, of course in urban areas I did not find this plant.

Aceh forest is known to have a variety of trees whose wood continues to be the target of illegal logging. Even though there is a memoratorium on logging forests, it has not been able to stop the few greedy people who continue to destroy the environment here.

Deforestation is also still part of the global environmental destroyer. The planting of oil palm trees, which was said to be a source of the economy for the post-conflict community, has turned out to be a boomerang that has indirectly damaged the forest ecosystem here.

The conflict between elephants and humans is clear evidence of the impact caused by this deforestation. The smaller the remaining forest land, replaced with plantations. So that the wild elephants who are here are getting closer to plantations and residential areas.

Well, CCH Community friends, that is part of the story of my journey through the inland of Aceh, I hope you enjoy it.
