How Not to Telegraph your Strikes

So non telegraphic strikes! What is that?

When you strike, do not show any obvious sign that how you are going to strike. If the attacker knows that before, you cannot make your move effectively.

I have made a post about Don't Give Signals What You Are About To Do For Self Defense. If you have not read that post, I recommend reading that to have a better understanding.

In this video, it shows how to make strike from fighting stance without giving the signals beforehand. You might think that if you pull your hand back and the punch or make any strike, it will be more powerful.

The thing is, you can generate a lot of power in a short distance. You might have heard of one-inch punch. Well, this can be another post for another day.

Spend some time practice. Try to practice striking in a natural stance. You can spar with your training partner and see how it works.
