Christ is Glorified in us.

Text:

12.I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man,[a] dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14 The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance. Rev 1: 12-16KJV

Before the revelation of the end time, events, Jesus Christ, the focus point in the revelation had to reveal Himself to John the beloved. He declared Himself for John to know His Authority, Glory and Majesty. Now here's one thing that beats my imagination. In you could really recall, you would know that John was often referred to as the beloved because he stayed very close to Jesus. In fact he was the disciple that had access to Jesus bosom as he often time rested his head there. However, it was kinda awkward that John never understood the revealed Christ.

Little wonder that he was taken by surprise when he had the revelation of the true authority of Jesus, The Bible records that he was awed by His voice which sounded like that of a trumpet while He spoke to him. John had to prostrate before Him in honour and trembled in fear but he was admonished not to be afraid but to rise and write down everything that was said (spoken).

Similarly, in the Book of Exodus, the Bible records the story of the children of Israel who murmured that they were tired of hearing all the instruction from Moses, that they would want to see and hear Him speak directly to them. Of course they could not stand up to the challenge because a mare coming of the wave that signaled the coming of the Omnipotent God, they all shouted and repented, thus telling Moses to go up to the Lord as they are now resolute to follow the instruction without complain.

The important lesson to learn from these two characters is that God revealed Himself to the and the Glory of God was seen in them. They had the opportunity to download God and be filled with the aura of His presence. Someone like Moses, the Bible record that his face beam like the sun when he descended from the mountain. It shone so bright the people could not behold him.

Jesus too in the transfiguration on the month, the Bible records that John and Peter that went up the mountain with Him to pray couldn't behold His face. They became greatly afraid because of the Glory that was restored on Him at that moment. Little wonder John in Revelation had to put his face to the floor when he saw this light.

I pray for you today that the Lord shall clothe you with His glory and shall make men that look at you in contempt to see His glory in your life in Jesus name. Like Moses, I pray that every tongue that had been speaking against you I declare today that they shall declare the Majesty and the Glory of Christ in your life in Jesus name. Your problem, sickness, pains shall give way to the almighty in Jesus name, amen.
