Greetings brothers and sisters

Here we have 2 very straight forward verses.
Two contrasting persons, the one that is lazy with a slack hand will become poor. To be poor is not something to be ashamed of except if you are poor due to your own laziness.
But the hard-working will be rich. He will reap the rewards for his hard work.

The wise son will plan for winter and will gather harvest before winter comes. The son that sleeps late and do not harvest will go hungry and will be a shame for his parents.

Let's take heed of this message and apply it in our daily life.
