Greetings Brother's and sisters.

These verses in Proverbs once again has a condition and a promise.

The condition deals with our possessions and earnings. Our possessions should honor God. I wonder how many of us think about this. In a world when we just want more and more. Do you think that
if we acquire just more and bigger for ourselves it is honouring God?

Of our increase God should get the firstfruits. This means God should get the best. We should give freely and generously. This we should do out of gratitude that God provides for us daily. Our possessions and money should also be utilised for the expansion of God's Kingdom.

So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. As it is written: “He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.”
II Corinthians 9:7‭-‬9 NKJV

In the above scripture we can see that God blesses so that we can also give to the poor.

If we fulfill the condition we can stand on the promise that our barns shall be filled with plenty and our vats shall overflow. The words plenty and overflows signify that God will not only provide, He will bless in abundance.

Thank you for accompanying me on this journey through Proverbs.
