¿Los sueños de niña son los de una mujer?

Sueños de niña.

Sinceramente, no quería hacer este post, básicamente por dos cositas... Primeramente, no recuerdo mucho de mi niñez y no se por que?!... Segundo, que hay un sueño que sostuve desde niña hasta finalizar mi adolescencia, pero nunca lo realicé. 😐

Como niña quise ser y hacer muchas cosas. Recuerdo que me encantaba ver las revistas de farandula, de la élite europea, de viajes. Y en mi mente infantil me imaginaba en un mundo de ricos y de viajes 🤩🥳.

Como madre una le pregunta a los niños que quieren ser cuando sean grandes. También como docentes lo preguntamos.

Les puedo decir que los niños nos pueden sorprender con sus respuestas. Son por demás interesantes, sus puntos de vista y lo que su imaginación produce, ya que no tiene límites y aún no tienen prejuicios como los adultos. Yo amo la mente de los niños. 🤗

Los niños, como respuesta pueden decir que quieren ser desde su Superhéroe favorito; yo quería ser Superwoman 😄.

Otra es que quieren ser como su papá o mamá. Algunos se van por oficios como mecánico, chofer, etc. También desean ser policía, militar o cualquier personaje que represente la ley o detenten un arma.😨

Algunos como yo, se enfocan en profesiones comunes como médico, maestro, abogado, contador...

En mi caso, yo quería ser maestra, ya que veía a mi maestra como una especie de mama y heroína juntas, mi maestra Dina nos dió clases desde el 2do. Grado hasta el 4to grado, cuando se fue de permiso post parto. Lloramos por ella cuando se fue. Así que era normal que algunos de nosotros quisiéramos ser como ella.

Bueno, ese sueño lo logré. Soy docente jubilada, me dediqué a la educación especial del área de dificultad de aprendizaje. Me dediqué 15 años a esa profesión con mucho amor por mis niños especiales. Aprendí mucho con ellos.

Mi sueño de ser maestra, logrado ✅

Un sueño no realizado.

En las primeras líneas de este post te dije que había una sueño que no había logrado y ese fue el de ser médico, doctora ❤️.

Fue un sueño que tuve desde quizás 9 años hasta que concluí mi bachillerato. Junto con mi amiga Verónica, nos gustaba soñar con esa futura época, de ser grandes y exitosas médicos.

Pero, hay un dicho popular aquí en Venezuela 🇻🇪 que dice: "una cosa piensa el burro y otra el que lo arrea" 🥴. ¿Qué significa esto respecto a mi sueño de ser doctora?! 🤔

Bueno, te cuento un poco para darte la perspectiva del asunto.

Mis padres eran muy tradicionales y de estrictas normas en el hogar. Nada de salir sola. Cero compinches con amigas. Nada de andar con hombres. Si no van conmigo de acompañante a fiesta, nadie va. Y así era en todo.

Por ser la última hija, creo que se excedieron un poco en la sobreprotección 😬... Con decirte que a las únicas fiestas que fui en esa época fueron los matiné del liceo y solo fui porque mentía y decía que iba a estudiar con una amiga.

Hoy día valoro, aprecio y agradezco mucho el cuidado que me dieron y sé que solo pudieron ser y hacer lo que más sabían: amarme.

Pero como adolescente, yo solo quería "volar del nido", para hacer lo que yo quisiera, ya que sabía que las condiciones de casa nunca cambiarían.

Total es que cuando se me presentó una oportunidad de estudiar educación y me tenía que mudar a la ciudad de Los Teques, no lo pensé dos veces y me olvidé del sueño de estudiar medicina.✈️

Mis sueños de viajar.🛫🛬

Siempre quise viajar y conocer a Venezuela y parte del mundo.

Hubo una época que pude viajar dentro del país y por ello conozco algunas ciudades, pero aún me falta por conocer.

Estuve por Maracaibo, San Cristóbal, Caracas, Cumaná, Puerto Ayacucho, Barquisimeto, Ciudad Bolivar, la represa del Guri (en los buenos tiempos, si eres venezolano entenderás 🤭). San Carlos y otras más..

Aún falta mucho por conocer de mi país, algunos lugares íconos como la Gran Sabana, el pico Bolivar, los Médanos de Coro y mucho más. Espero tener vida y salud y poder disfrutarlo 😊.

Fuera del país, solo pude viajar a Cúcuta, pero de compras por un día, hace muchos años atrás. Creo que por el año 1985.

También viajé a República Dominicana a casa de una amiga en Puerto Plata que es una ciudad portuaria muy bella, sus playas lindas. También conocí un poco a Santo Domingo, la capital.

De cuando visité República Dominicana

De los lugares específicos que todavía quiero conocer, serían París y su torre Eiffel. New York con su Central Park. Grecia, sobre todo Santorini. Y Bora Bora, por supuesto con buena compañía 🤩❤️.

Los otros son sueños materiales, entre los que destaca, mi casa ✅, un asunto logrado. Yo hacía dibujos de lo que sería mi casa.

El auto me lo debo aún➡️.

Bueno, hasta aquí te puedo contar de esos sueños que de niña tuve y estoy aquí viviendo parte de ellos.

En el camino del crecimiento y la madurez adquirí y creé nuevos sueños que también logré, pero ya serán parte de otro post.

Dreams of a child girl.

Honestly, I didn't want to do this post, basically because of two little things... Firstly, I don't remember much about my childhood and I don't know why. Second, that there is a dream that I held since I was a child until I finished my adolescence, but I never realized it. 😐

As a child girl I wanted to be and do many things. I remember that I loved to see the magazines of farandula, of the European elite, of travel. And in my childhood mind I imagined myself in a world of rich people and travel 🤩🥳.

As a mother one asks children what they want to be when they grow up. Also as a teacher we ask.

I can tell you that children can surprise us with their answers. They are very interesting, their points of view and what their imagination produces, since they have no limits and they still do not have prejudices like adults. I love children's minds. 🤗

The kids, in response, can say they want to be from their favorite Superhero; I wanted to be Superwoman 😄.

Another is that they want to be like their mom or dad. Some dreams whith jobs like mechanic, driver, etc. They also want to be police, military or any person who represents the law or holds a weapon.😱

Some, like me, focus on common professions like doctor, teacher, lawyer, accountant...

In my case, I wanted to be a teacher for a while, since I saw my teacher as a kind of mom and heroine together, my teacher Dina taught us from 2nd grade to 4th grade, when she went on postpartum leave. We cried for her when she left. So it was normal that some of us wanted to be like her.

Well, I made that dream come true. I'm a retired teacher, and I worked in special education in the area of learning disabilities. I dedicated 15 years to that profession with a lot of love for my special children. I learned a lot with them.

My dream of being a teacher has been achieved. ✅

An unfulfilled dream.

In the first lines of this post I told you that there was a dream that I had not achieved and that was to be a doctor, doctor ❤.

It was a dream I had from maybe 9 years old until I finished my high school. Together with my friend Veronica, we liked to dream about that future time, of being great and successful doctors.

But, there is a popular saying here in Venezuela 🇻🇪 that says: "one thing the donkey thinks and another the one who plows it" 🥴. What does this mean about my dream of being a doctor?! 🤔

Well, here's a shorts history to give you perspective on the matter.

My parents were very traditional and strict in their home. No going out alone. Zero buddies with friends. No hanging out with men. If they don't go with me as an escort to a party, nobody goes. And so on.

For being the last daughter, I think they overdid it a bit... The only parties I went to at that time were the matinees at the high school and I only went because I lied and said I was going to study with a friend.

Today I value, appreciate and thank you very much for the care they gave me and I know that they could only be and do what they knew best: love me.

But as a teenager, I only wanted to "fly of the nest" to do what I wanted, since I knew that the conditions at home would never change.

So when an opportunity came up for me to study education and I had to move to the city of Los Teques, I didn't think twice and forgot about the dream of studying medicine.

My dreams of travel

I always wanted to travel and get to know Venezuela and part of the world.

There was a time when I was able to travel within the country and because of this I know some cities, but I still have to get to know them. I was in Maracaibo, San Cristobal, Caracas, Cumana, Puerto Ayacucho, Barquisimeto, Ciudad Bolivar, the Guri dam (in the good times, if you are Venezuelan you will understand 🤭). Saint Charles and more.

There is still a lot to know about my country, some iconic places like the Gran Sabana, Bolivar Peak, the Medanos de Coro and much more. I hope to have life and health and enjoy it 😊.

Outside the country, I was only able to travel to Cúcuta, but for a day's shopping, many years ago. I believe that by the year 1985.

I also traveled to the Dominican Republic to a friend's house in Puerto Plata which is a port city but very beautiful, its beaches are beautiful. I got to know a little bit about Santo Domingo, the capital city.

Of the specific places that I still want to know, would be Paris and its Eiffel Tower. New York with its Central Park. Greece, especially Santorini. And Bora Bora, of course with good company 🤩❤️.
