"We live in a vale of tears."

"Life is very hard."

"I'm still in the fight."

Do those words sound familiar? They do to me, but who's to say they don't have some truth to them? Come on! We've all been through tough times in our lives. However, I'm not going to focus on that. I'd like to focus on the intensity, on the charge of these words tears struggles hard.

Words that some experts usually call dense and rightly so, because they all carry a very strong significant charge that settles in our being and shows how ingrained we have the culture of sacrifice in our minds.

A way of thinking that makes us believe that the only possible way to achieve the longed-for happiness is by crying, fighting... in short, by sacrificing ourselves.

Source

Thus, Sacrifice becomes our banner and from there we begin to pursue goals, results. At some point, we come to believe that the end justifies the means and we forget about the rest: enjoyment, laughter, pleasure, learning.

We start to build our thoughts with dense, heavy words that mark a stormy path.

But what would happen if we started to create realities with lighter, more digestible words? what would happen if instead of sacrifice, we started to use passion, enjoyment, joy?

Source

We would simply collapse -and I include myself- because we are so used to living from sacrifice that the simple idea of assuming another perspective would drive us crazy.

Nevertheless, it would not be bad to let ourselves be carried away by the meaning of light, subtle, light words. Words with strength, with drops of joy that lead us to achieve a goal, but also to become aware of our surroundings, to understand that we are part of a whole and that the end does not always justify the means.

Let me give you an example:

Remember when you used to have time to go out and one of your friends invited you to go for a walk and almost instantly you said Yes! And then, without realizing it, you were already organizing the food, the time to go out, the best place to be, the transfer and everything flowed easily.

You were ready and off you went. As you approached the place, you looked around you. You talked, you remembered some anecdote, you thought about how your life would be if everything was done with the same care and passion with which you quickly prepared the trip.

Everything would be different, wouldn't it?

However, all is not lost. There is still time to leave behind dense words to start using lighter ones or, if you prefer, to start living with lighter words instead of dense words.

Are you up for it?

Hermanita bella¡! Me alegra leerte.
