Sepia Saturday
Today is a beautiful day, and #sepiasaturday too! What a great thing.
So far today I have enjoyed a 17 mile bike ride, some awesome coffee, and am now currently sitting outside at Liquid Alchemy enjoying some mead.
The best thing about Liquid Alchemy is the ambience. Every table haw it's open unique decorations. Such as this wrought iron church.
I was really impressed with the church, but there were two other items as well, a neat looking shell and painted brick.
Sitting beside the table was an awesome looking cricket. It was iron, of course, and not an actual cricket. Pretty neat looking.
Seriously, everything about this place is pretty awesome. While I was taking pictures a couple with a young Siberian husky arrived, which happens to be my favourite dog breed. They let me play! I was so happy.
After getting my fix I went back to photos and thought the table to itself was neat.
And finally, just to show I was here, here is a sepia of me. Feel free to enjoy the other pictures more.

As if I need even more hobbies, yet I have long thought of welding up some Old Guy "art" might be fun. I even went so far as buying the welder! Perhaps as it starts to cool down I will find the time.
Cool sepias!
A welder would be too much fun! I've often considered finding a way to hack up my own forge, but I think I'm just way too lazy for that.
Thanks for stopping by!
I used to drink coffee with a guy that had built himself a forge. He'd occasionally bring things to show and tell.
It was pretty cool, I have to tell you. There are days when just banging a hammer on an anvil has a real attraction to it...
Right? There's a blacksmith down in Delaware City that occasionally holds day-long classes. I might need to do that.
You know what? Me too. Exactly.
I've got a nice pile of scrap metal that probably should be sitting on my fence or something.
I bought a new welding helmet a few years ago and HAVE NEVER USED IT. Ugggghhh. I am a slug.
I have picked your post for my daily hive voting initiative, Keep it up and Hive On!!
Thanks @chitty!
Jeeze Victor! Beautiful photos and a great entry into the contest.
That's a pretty darn cool environment for watching the world go by...
If you met Sam your favorite dog breed might become half Rhodesian Ridgeback and half something. Just sayin'
The thing about dogs is that every dog is the best dog!
Well, all of them are pretty best, but Sam is in a class by himself 😂
Damn! The photos are stunning! Loved the third one (from top) the most!
Thank you! I thought the table top had a neat texture to it, too.
Oh, splendid, Victor! I love the tone of the shots! Having playtime with the husky rocked it.
Taking it with me.

Thanks for stopping by Denise! I love Huskies. I need to say that quietly so as to not offend my black lab, but I really love huskies.

Haha. The last photo was the best one man. Haha. No photos of the mead?? Where is this place? Out near Wilmington? I may have heard of it. It was a great day wasn’t it. Nice shots and looks like some really cool stuff.
I don't normally do selfies, but I think I look better in monochrome, so it works. 😂
Liquid Alchemy is in Newport, so definitely not far from Wilmington. Definitely a neat place!
I'll have to check it out sometime soon. Thanks!!
