31 Days of October - Day 5
I wanted to write a poem for this piece, and I started, but didn't like it. I'm not a poet. At least not yet.
Halloween used to be full of children, and decorations, and costumes (oh, the costumes) and candy! (Oh, the candy). Many of the decorations are now assigned to the annals of memory only, and my children were never "crafters" or "makers." My oldest son has always been far to cerebral for that, and my middle son much too unworried. My youngest, however, likes to make things Old School. He likes to weave and he enjoys pottery. These pieces of his will forever be a centre piece of my autumn decorations.
A pumpkin and corn tip on a candy-corn shaped dish, with a skull and moon mosaic behind them.
Placed safely, of course, so a cat doesn't decide they need to be on the floor instead.

A weaver and a potter ... score. Perhaps the cerebral one might write you a poem and the laissez-faire one read it for you. It could work:)
Haha.. great idea. I think Victor will take your advice and get moving on his next post!
He's been super-productive. I just stoked to have another Halloween junkie:)
Yes! Every day is just too much fun with all this. Next year I think I need to build myself a Halloween Advent calendar. 😃
It's not the best shot ... but this crazy lady beat you to it. It's been around a bit and needs some repairs but my 11-year-old still loves it:)
That is absolutely awesome! I love it!
Everything sourced from the Dollar Store ... chi-chi:)
It's the best place to be creative! I actually like to go there to browse just to get ideas and quite often photography props.
Michaels is great too but it can be way to pricy at times. I do get the teacher's discount though ... so that with a sale and sometimes I go upscale.
My son and I love to walk through there a look at the seasonal goods.
Plans are in motion! I think I just need to get them to agree to it!
I had to adjust my screen brightness, because the photo was too dark on my screen for some reason. Anyhow, got a good look at the pieces and they are awesome! You should be very proud of all your children. Sounds like they all have different talents. 😊
