My latest score from Ye Olde Coin Shoppe!
I went to my favorite Coin Shoppe on Friday to check out the bid board, and maybe make some last minute bids on auctions closing on Saturday. I was still the high bidder on a couple auctions so I didn't need to bump them up. Silver had dropped about $1.50 per ounce, so I checked out the bullion rounds and found this nice 2 ounce .999 fine silver Pope John II round. It also had a nice Virgin of Guadalupe on the reverse. At one time it had a nice proof finish, but as you can see in the photos it has imperfections now. I picked up this round for $36.84 so I should be able to sell it for a profit, if I decide to put it up for auction at the coin club meeting. I need to do some research on this piece as I've never seen one before. Thanks for stopping by, have a great week. 🙏

WOW! That's a great price. You should definitely be able to sell it for a profit.. or maybe hang on to it a while. I have never seen that before as well, but heck.. there are so many lately ive been seeing. maybe because silver was on a bit of a rise.. who know's but Nice Find for sure!!
