01- My blog name

The name of my blog comes from an initiative that my best friend and i had, to create an instagram page (@ tripode.rd) to upload artistic photographs for love of art... simply to upload these images, express ourselves, accompanied by a good motivational sentence, so that good vibes reach our followers daily.

A few years ago we had started a similar project, called @ tiktak, but we didn't keep it afloat at the time, and now when we wanted to resume it we couldn't even remember the password... So we had to do the whole process of designing the name again.

We came up with countless possibilities like ¨photogallery¨, ¨shotty¨, ¨cameraroll¨, ¨naturephoto¨, and many more that i don't even remember anymore.

And in the middle of the brainstorming my partner mentioned ¨tripode¨, i stopped here, i found it very interesting and i even like how the typography looks all in lowercase, it has many round letters that i like, it sounds striking and it is the accessory that holds the camera in many occasions, to have pictures with more quality.

So we went with ¨tripode¨. And the truth is that i'm still in love with the namesince the moment she told me.

01- Mi nombre de blog

El nombre de mi blog nace de una iniciativa que tuvimos mi mejor amiga y yo, de crear una página de instagram (@ tripode.rd) para subir fotografías artísticas por amor al arte... simplemente para subir estas imágenes, expresarnos, acompañadas de una buena frase motivacional, para que diariamente le lleguen buenas vibras a nuestros seguidores.

Hacen unos años habíamos iniciado un proyecto igual, llamado @ tiktak, pero no lo mantuvimos a flote en ese momento, y ahora cuando quisimos volver a retomarlo ni nos acordábamos de la contraseña... Así que tuvimos que hacer todo el proceso de diseño del nombre de nuevo.

Se nos ocurrieron un sinnúmero de posibilidades como ¨photogallery¨, ¨shotty¨, ¨cameraroll¨, ¨naturephoto¨, y muchísimas más que ya ni me acuerdo.

Y en medio de la lluvia de ideas mi compañera mencionó ¨tripode¨, yo me detuve aquí, me pareció muy interesante y hasta me gusta cómo se ve la tipografia todo en minúsculas, tiene muchas letras redondas que me agrada, se escucha llamativo y es el accesorio que sostiene la cámara en muchas ocasiones, para tener fotografías con mayor calidad.

Así que nos fuimos con ¨tripode¨. Y la verdad es que sigo enamorada del nombre.
