Sleeping Peacefully

When an animal (or human, for that matter) can enter into a very deep sleep in your presence, it is a gift. That shows that they trust you, completely, and is definitely a beautiful thing when it happens.

This is one of my sister-in-law's cats, who has been here at my house since the beginning of the year. Her name is LittleBit because she was so tiny when she was a baby. Even now at three years of age, she's not that big and can make herself fit, easily, into the most surprisingly small spaces. She's a beautiful tiger cat with a yellowish-orange coloring to her coat.

She loves to come sit beside me once or twice each day to get some loving, snuggle, or take a nap, as she is doing here. Her fur is so soft and I love her little kitty toes, showing in this photo. It is a lovely #caturday, indeed! 😊

And so very true, to be able to enter into a very deep sleep is a gift!

That's lovely... and yes, there is definitely something exceptionally calming about having a sleeping cat nearby... I have one on my desk, even as I write these words!

Happy Caturday to you!

Cats are just always so super cute and sweet.. Nature was so grateful to them, giving them this gift of cuteness 🤣

I love ginger cats. I find that they all seem to be exceptionally social compared to some others. Nothing more precious than a sleepy kitty.
