Market Friday- KC CALI's Lechon Hauz Baguio City

Good day guys!

Let me share with you guys my experience taking out food from this delicious eatery called KC CALI's Lechon Hauz. Me and my friends went to visit our college instructor. He currently works at the Rehab Gym located at Cooyeesan Mall, we haven't seen him for a very long time and it was fun catching up with him. He's so kind that he even offered to buy us lunch with his other staff members. This eatery is just located outside Cooyeesan Mall.

These are the different things that they serve.

FoodPrice (Philippines Pesos)
Lechon Sisig160
Lechon Sinigang85
Lechon Kare Kare150
Lechon Dinakdakan160
Beef Pares(Rice/ Noodles)85
Lechon600 for 1 kilo
300 for 1/2 kilo
155 for 1/4 kilo

They also had a menu for the day wherein they served rice meals, particularly pork diniguan, bagnet sinigang, bagnet rice, bagnet sisig, pancit, laing and drinks

They charge an additional 5 php for takeout for the packaging.

This was their setup of the eatery, wherein you could check the food that they are serving and choose what you want.

As you can see from the reflection their place is really outside, so you could see the cars parked and the road. While waiting, I noticed that they were also strict with the social distancing, they even had their own alcohol that we could use to sterilize our hands and everyone was required to use a face mask when buying.

Me and my friends ordered the Bagnet Sisig. Bagnet is deep fried pork belly dish which originated from Ilocos while Sisig is composed of minced pork, chopped onions and chicken liver. We got our food for take out so we could eat at the clinic.

This was how the dish looked like. It was garnished with green onions and it came with calamansi( Philippine Lemon) and Chili. The serving came with a lot of rice also. This meal tasted delicious. We really enjoyed eating our meal while catching up with our instructor.

Wow, looks really yummy. I haven't tried Bagnet sisig but I bet they really taste better than the ordinary sisig we see all around. Very interesting menu selection. Sinigang na lechon and Kare Kare lechon are dish combination I never thought of. And the Lecon Dinakdakan. What is this? In our lingo dakdak means to talk and talk. Does this mean the cook talked to the lechon while preparing it? Ha ha ha. Makes me very curious.

I also see laing with rice and laing with bagnet sisig. Wow. Laiang is one dish my wife and I really enjoy. But living in Mindanao where this dish is unknown, it's very hard to come by with good tasty laing anywhere unless they are home cooked by Ilocanos or Kapampangans. If I live in Baguio, this will probably one of my watering holes for meals lol. Great mouth-watering post.

Yes! It was really delicious. They did a great job mixing it together, I just loved the crunch of the bagnet with the taste of the sisig. Dinakdakan is actually grilled pork parts tossed in calamansi or vinegar and which makes it special is that they use pig brain to make it creamy but if pig brain isn't available they use mayonnaise as a substitute.

My mom loves laing too! There are a lot of recipes online you might find a jackpot and introduce it to your friends there. I hope you and your family is doing okay. Stay safe always!

I just love coming here and going out to eat with you! The Bagnet sisiq looked delicious! How can you really decide when they all look so good? You must need to just keep on going back and getting something different.

What a nice instructor to take you all out to lunch! That is above and beyond the call of his job, he must be an exceptional human being. Thanks for taking us with you!!! You are the best!I have done my first reading all of the #MarketFriday posts, which I normally do before I comment on any. It has been my habit since the beginning of the challenge. I have told all of you how humbled I am, so many people taking the time to put a quality post together, so that we may share with each other.

To this day, I learn something new each time I read your post, sometimes only a small detail is new, but, it is a process, like building with blocks. Each time, more blocks are added until I understand how it is built, or how you think. Your culture is one to be proud of and I am so excited to learn more each week. I am fascinated by it all. I never like to miss anything on it. I cannot even begin to tell you how much they mean to me, that you take the time. There have been some really interesting ways that #MarketFriday has been presented, all of which add more charm to the mixing bowl. The challenge points out our differences, but, then, it also shows many things our cultures share. When the day is done, it shows off how human we all are and how we basically all care about our families and others.

I love the experience of it all. I appreciate the love and support given to #MarketFriday! Thank you! Truly! Your participation adds a piece of your world, and I have to say, people are interested in is seeing it. This entire challenge has opened up the world to me and so many others. Thank you again for being a part of all this! I am so happy to see you here@ I hope you have a fabulous day! Hive on!!
