It's time for some Upcycling | Potting plants on recycled containers!

Recycling is the best way to reuse resources, no? We can get creative, don't have to expend much money into getting new stuff but can get things done. Recycle or upcycle, whatever you name it; there's no way to love it.

I usually recycle/upcycle containers to plant for my balcony garden. I don't mind using them this way. So thought, let's share them with you!

What we need?

• Used plastic pots or containers, clay pots, or anything available to you.

• Scissors and knife to cut and make holes in the containers.

• Paint to make it look good (optional)

For the first one, I used oatmeal containers to plant some nine o'clock flower plants. They are easy to grow and look good when they surround the whole pot like this.

Also, I use different plastic containers to pot my plants. The process is very simple. Just cut them and repot or plant your trees.

First I cut the plastic oil container into half using a scissor. Then I replace my plants inside it.

It's not like plant pots are high in prices. We all know how cheap they are. It's easy to throw away useless containers and pots. But choosing to replace them and making them into something useful means a lot to me. It gives a sense that somehow I'm helping to save the planet.

This is one portion of my balcony garden. You can see I used different clay made, ceramic, plastic pots. Usually, they are broken or came with food products. I used to paint them before but now I don't get enough time for that. But that's okay, I think. Because I gave them a new life, that's what matters most!
