Hive is not simply a blockchain - it is a decision, a mindset and a like minded community that shares in the growth of such.

THE WHAT, WHY, WHO & WHERE OF IT ALL

These are my five...

WHAT

(What Hive offers you as an individual)

Hive has given me the opportunity to share my photography and thoughts with many wonderful like-minded individuals. Hive offers me the chance to earn money doing something I love.

WHY

(How Hive is different to other social media and blogging platforms)

I had been on another social media that paid for photography but Hive was interesting with the crypto and I wanted to learn more about this mysterious currency.

At first it was more challenging than I thought it would be and starting out it is not for the faint of heart. Persistence is key to build your account and don’t lose your keys either. :)

WHO

(People & spaces you find Hive support and gain enthusiasm from)

I wouldn’t know where to start in mentioning people who have been an ongoing support during my sojourn on Hive. I love you all and you know who you are. 🤗

Engaging with people from all over the world , Austria, England, France, Russia, Indonesia, South Africa, U.S.A to name a few, has been a continuing delight.

These people have been a constant since I joined over two years ago. We have interacted and trusted each other enough to share highs and lows of our life through photography and blogging.

WHERE

(The front ends / dapps of your choice and why)

Life is a continuing learning process and Hive has been that for me.

I love contests and challenges such as @melinda010100’s Feathered Friends and Shadow Hunters and @dswigle’s Always a Flower Community. #sublimesunday and #wednesdaywalk are two other favorites. I have been active recently in @barbara-orenya’s popular fun Alphabet Hunt and @shaka’s Let's Make a Collage.

With Jaynie at the helm, #powerhousecreatives has been an exciting caring community. Thanks for all you do Jaynie.

@PeakD (https://peakd.com) has been my go-to for posting and recently I also use @Ecency (https://ecency.com).

I have to admit Hive has become an important part of my daily life. I came for the crypto but will stay for the wonderful people I interact with nearly daily. I have lots of fun and opinions.

Good morning @kohsamui99,

in that case I would suggest you to have a !BEER or two. A little alcohol in my head has always helped me when I needed some inspiration and it brought words into my mind of which I would never had thought when I was sober 🤣

Good morning Jo,

our temperatures have been very nice in the past few days - about 15C in the morning and up to about 25 during the day, but the weekend is going to be very hot again. I hope it will not be too hot, because I'm working on Sunday and we haven't got air condition.

The Autumn is coming - the lake is foggy in the morning and the mist stays quite a while.

Yes, Thor's day went fine - I made a nice ride around town and the lake in the evening, but then I had quite some stress to reply to all the comments - I hate the Hive 🤣 🤣 🤣 ... oh no, I love it anyway lol

Since I'm working on Sunday I'll finish today a bit earlier if no urgent work comes in.

Good afternoon Johann. Since you mentioned Autumn, I don’t seem to mind the heat so much 😃

Once August is over I don’t like to think of Autumn coming around. September is always beautiful here but then I know the next season will be cold for a few months.

Good afternoon dear Jo,

I know what you mean, and I don't like the cold neither, if there's no snow in the valleys like in the past years. I there's snow I love it as long as everything's white 😁

But with Autumn I meant September and October anyway, with nice warm days and foggy mornings 😉

It has become quite hot in the afternoon - I am pretty sure that the weather forecast is right for the weekend and we will get over 30 C again.

Thanks @bigtom13 for your lovely comments. It really is the people like yourself that makes Hive hum sweetly along.

About Peppy- the little stinker did return one late evening a few days ago. I went outside to bring the hummingbird feeder in and saw a bush move by the back deck.

It was dark but I could see it was Peppy. He looked small as he was soaking wet from the rain. I talked to him awhile as he ate the food I put out. Since then he has been elusive but at least I know he is alright. Perhaps he is strolling around the area looking for a mate or is a she and taking care of babies.

It was too dark to take a photo when he returned. I wanted to do a writeup on him to let everyone know he was alright but wanted a photo to add.

Thanks for being my friend Tom and helping so many people on Hive.

Challenges to learn, changes in how to do things on Hive has been entertaining to watch people arrive and grow. People definitely get it quickly or don't stay, those who do really find an abundance of friendship, information and many contests to join in sharing their talent.
